instructional design

Instructional design is the designing of training videos. If the plans for your company’s software implementation are to incorporate web-based training (WBT) content for your end-users, our instructional design team will lend a helping hand.

If you’re unfamiliar with instructional design, you may have seen it without even knowing. Instructional designers create course material for your end-users to view. These materials can be view-only videos for your staff to see what they’ll be doing during their day, or they can be interactive, quizzing the viewer as the video goes along.

Our instructional designers work within several different programs — Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia — and are experts in focusing their content around pre-approved workflows.

Typically, these WBT videos are sent out to your staff before they attend their EMR training class. This will ensure that they are vaguely familiar with the system prior to coming to class, allowing them to focus more while in training rather than being overwhelmed by the differences between their new and old systems.
